HELENE CIXOUS
The distinguished French intellectual, Hélène Cixous will be visiting Queen Mary
this coming February, hosted by the Department of French and the Inter-Departmental
Philosophy Programme.
Hélène Cixous has long figured among France’s most influential thinkers, essayists
and novelists. Her lecture, entitled “Let Her Letter Go”, will be delivered in
English. It will take place on Friday 8 February at 5pm, with a reception
afterwards. A follow-up seminar will be held on the morning of Saturday 9 February
(time to be announced).
