“Judy Chicago & the California Girls”, a documentary that offers a unique view of Second Wave Feminism, and the birth of the Women’s Art Movement in the United States, is now available from The artist Judy Chicago worked from the late sixties to change American art and culture, in a movement that quickly joined with other movements around the world. Highlights of the film include Judy discussing female imagery, a talk by the feminist theorist Ti-Grace Atkinson, early performance art, and a true time capsule of an art world and society in flux.
