Documentary – Judy Chicago & the California Girls

“Judy Chicago & the California Girls”, a documentary that offers a unique view of Second Wave Feminism, and the birth of the Women’s Art Movement in the United States, is now available from http://www.judychicagoandthecaliforniagirls.com. The artist Judy Chicago worked from the late sixties to change American art and culture, in a movement that quickly joined with other movements around the world. Highlights of the film include Judy discussing female imagery, a talk by the feminist theorist Ti-Grace Atkinson, early performance art, and a true time capsule of an art world and society in flux.
