The Political Paths of a Brother and Sister: Hugh Franklin and Helen
Bentwich, 1910-1960

Growing up in an Anglo-Jewish family distinguished in public service,
Hugh Franklin and Helen Bentwich nee Franklin were influenced in
different ways by the campaign for women’s suffrage.  Join Dr Anne
Summers to hear about the letters, photographs and memorabilia from The
Women’s Library archives, and how they tell this fascinating story.

Admission £6/£4, all proceeds to support the Library’s collections.
The Women’s Library is in Old Castle Street, London E1 7NT.  Nearest
tubes Aldgate and Aldgate East.
