Funding – School of Advanced Study, London

The School of Advanced Study, University of London, is pleased to announce a number of funding opportunities across its range of postgraduate taught Master’s courses and research degree programmes (commencing October 2009) in subjects spanning the humanities and social sciences, including:

History (including cultural and intellectual history, history of the Americas, history of art, history of the book, metropolitan and urban history)

– School studentships are available for all taught master’s courses and PhD programmes (up to £15,000 pa)
– Subject-specific funding is available in many of the School’s specialist subject areas  (up to £4,000)
– Master’s and doctoral students of the School can apply for Arts and Humanities Research Council Awards (subject to agreement up to £15,000)
