The Women’s Library
The Women’s Library at London Metropolitan University houses the most
extensive collection of women’s history in the UK. In addition to the
Reading Room, the library provides exhibitions, talks, events and an
education programme.
Salary from £22,473 to £25,614 per annum (pro rata)
Part-time (21 hours per week)
Fixed-term for 18 months
We are seeking a Network Facilitator to support a Research Network into
the Women’s Liberation Movement in the UK. The Research Network is a
collaboration between researchers, librarians, archivists and activists
and is funded by the Leverhulme Trust. You will identify key resources
and experts, plan and co-ordinate six workshops to be held across the UK
and document and disseminate the outcomes of the workshops.
You will be an experienced researcher with a postgraduate qualification
in women’s history or women’s studies and detailed knowledge of the
Women’s Liberation Movement. You will possess excellent organisational
and communication skills and the ability to work independently, as well
as part of a team and with a range of external partners.
