Call for Papers – London Seminar of the History of Feminism Network

The London section of the network runs a monthly seminar, to our knowledge the only academic space dedicated solely to discussing the history of feminism, at which postgraduates can present their work in a friendly and constructive atmosphere. Papers are circulated ahead of time so that the seminar can be dedicated to discussion and debate.

Examples of papers presented in 2006-2007 are:
-Daniel Grey (Roehampton), ‘Dear Sir? we are not suffragettes’: Infanticide, feminism and Daisy Lord
-Marc Calvini-Lefebvre (Goldsmiths), ‘Women! Your Country Needs You!’: Gendering citizenship in Great War Britain

If you would like to present a paper at the seminar please send a 300 word abstract to: by 31 August 2007 for inclusion into our autumn term programme.
